QUESTION: My hores had spent the first eight years in a field with her mother and a few other horses she had been touched and walked in the first few years then just fed and left free over the past five or six years she is timid and jumps at the anything that startals her, but she is letting me handle her alot I am just unsure about mounting her what type of training should I do first

Answer
It sounds like you might be able to ride her. But since you are unsure, I would suggest getting someone with experience to come out and look at your horse. You don't want to get on her and end up in the dirt. It might take some time but you can do it :)
