My mare seems ready but hasnt waxed

Hi, my question is that my mare is very full in the udder and her vulva is very swollen but she hasn't waxed.How much more time

Sandy,  SOme mares, especially maiden mares (mares that have never foaled before) may not wax up.  So she may never.  But when she starts to leak milk, I would say about 2-3 drops consistantly ever couple minutes, and you see that the foal has moved more towards her back end, she will usually foal within 48 hours or so.  And most times on a colder, stormy, gross night.
