hi Shelley I'm Janet and I'm a student from pierce college I'm not sure if your familiar with it but my question is.... I'm planning to major in becoming a horse trainer but i been trying to volunteer and try to get more hands on and my school has recommended me to find a stable or ranch where they will allow me to do so but I'm not quite sure in how to do that you think you can give me some advice on that so i can keep in mind?

I would generate a form letter detailing your credentials and expectations and send it out to REPUTABLE training facilities in your area. If you are looking to train within a specific breed or discipline- check with the breed or National organization to get addresses. Having your own liability insurance will probably help to get your foot in the door.
