Training 6 month old filly

Question
My question is how to gain respect and trust of six month old filly. When anyone walks into her stall, she either tries to run you over, or puts her ears back and tries to bite. She has never been hit, or has any reason that I know of to be ill tempered. I just cant get her to trust me no matter what I try; calm soothing voice, treats, patience, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
hi leigh,
hmm there are so many things to do. the best way i think is to make the filly move around. once she stops and looks at you then her attention is on you. exercise her daily and handle her daily. im working with a 6 month old stud aztec colt that is the same way only worse. it takes me about 3 hours to get a halter on him. it just takes time a patience. check out chris-cox.com and order some of his colt starting dvd's they will help out alot . good luck
