poisonous?

Are Bay Tree leaves poisonous to Horses or any other livestock? I'd like to plant one in my feild, but can't if they may make em sick..... Thank you.

Im not certain of the answer to this, but I do not think they are as i have studied poisonous plants to horses extensively and have never seen any reference to this tree. However, I also suggest you contact a county extension agent to ask this question to also- who is much more likely to be able to answer this with certainty.
