Roaching Manes

Hello,

I am a horse that I plan on showing in the jumping ring this summer.  I want to show him in the Wisconsin Hunter Jumper Association.  I wanted to know if roached manes are allowed, or if they have to be braided.

When showing on the A circuit you will want to braid.  If you are participating in local shows that are non sanctioned by the WHJA then you don't need to braid. Some B rated show you will find a mix of those who braid and those who don't, either is okay.
