Chinese water dragon sleeping too much?

22 14:38:16

Question
I just got 2 new Chinese water dragons yesterday (Boba and Jango). Now I already have two others so I pretty much know the basics about them. We brought the 2 new ones home and they were so full of energy and ate like 4 crickets a piece the first day. Now they are really small so I don't think they are very old. But I noticed today that Jango is laying down all the time and sleeping a lot!! He's eating normal (and we dust all the crickets with calcium powder) but just I've never seen one sleep that much. When we go to move him he's jump up and run to another spot and sleep again. I don't know what to think about this. Please help.

Answer
Are they housed separately?  What are the temperatures in the tanks?  Were they cold at any point when you received them and traveled home with them?  Eating is a good thing, but baby dragons should not ne sleeping so much.  If he is on the floor of the habitat, is it cool to the touch?  Sometime dragons will cool their tummies if they are experiencing a high parasite load in the gut.  I would have him checked and have a fecal done to rule out parasites.
