I clipped my minis once since I got her... I think they should be done again but we had so much truble holding her last time... is there a special way to hold them to clip the claws? is there anyother routine care needed other then feeding, pen cleaning, exercsie and handling?, any adive you can give will be helpful, thanks.

Answer
For rabbits with short hair I generally use a flea comb, a soft brush, or a Zoom Groom (that's what it's called in the store).  To socialize them, you could brush them every week.

If they get lots of hay, I wouldn't worry about hairball remedy unless you notice their output decreases or starts becoming strung together with excess hair.

Generally you can do nails every 2 months.  There's a video on how to do this, if you are interested, at http://www.rabbitcare.org/  Or, you can wrap her up like a burrito in a towel, and just pull out one foot at a time.

When I trim nails I also check for lumps, bumps, dirty ears, runny noses, dirty bottoms, sore feet, etc.  So it's nail trimming and a health check at the same time.
