I have 2 young bunnies and the rectum is swelled on the both of them what could this be it doesn't seem painful the other two in the litter are fine there are no parasites that I can see it just enlarged could this be a genetic problem

Dear Peggie,

Since I can't see them, it's hard for me to gauge what the problem might be.  It could be genetic, but they also might have prolapsed rectums, or another problem.

Please get them to a good rabbit vet for full examination, diagnosis, and treatment.  A swollen anus isn't normal, and should be addressed by a professional.  If you don't already have a good rabbit vet, please find one here:
