CAUSE OF DEATH??

Hello,
My female rabbitt, 6 months old, 100% inside,
died Monday afternoon. Saturday PM we noticed
a blood stain on her nose we thought she might
have scratched herself as everything else was
fine. Sunday, same thing, but still very playful.
Monday AM, not eating and runny stool, perhaps with mucous, very lethargic and could not keep head up. Monday noon
she passed away. I've had rabbitts since I was a child and this was a surprise!! What do you think happened?  Thanks.  Anita

Without having a necropsy done (the animal equivalent of an autopsy) there is really no way of knowing what she died of.  Those symptoms can cover so many ailments that it'd be impossible to tell otherwise.  Some sort of infection or parasite is about as far as I can narrow it down for you.

I am sorry for your loss and that I can't give you more information.
