abondoned rabbits

hello. my friend has just called me and said that her dog had gotten into a rabbits nest and started to take out the babies to try and eat. when the dog pulled one out, my friend pulled her away and took the baby inside. she has been feeding it warm milk i think and it is very cute. how can we keep the baby alive? please help.

Caroline, what kind of rabbit is it ?  Domestic or hare ?  You can try - but be prepared if it dies, they are very hard to raise by hand.  When I do it I give them warm whole milk with  25% of heavy cream mixed in with a doll bottle - if you can find one with a soft nipple it is easier.  It needs to eat two times a day - in the early morning and the evening.
