Question
how big does a nesting box have to be for flemish giants
my sons rabbit just had babies two died she still has four left but she had them in different places in her cage we put a small pet carrier in with her with straw and her fur will that be good enough or does she need something bigger

Answer
A nest box should be approximately 2 inches wider and longer than the mother in a normal sitting position. This gives her enough room to get in and feed the babies, but it is small enough to not encourage her to sit in the box all the time and go to the bathroom in it. So, provided the pet carrier has solid sides (not a wire rabbit carrier) and is about that size, then it should work okay.
