Dwarf rabbit and harness

Question
Hi there, I have a female dwarf rabbit, she has not been spayed yet as she is less than 3 months old.  I have bought her a harness so the children can be taken for a walk, but am concerned about how tight it needs to be so haven't actually used it yet. I don't want to cause harm by having it too tight or too loose but how will I know when it's correct?

Answer
Hi Dawn,
you can put the harness on,if you can fit 1 finger underneath it,it's good.  Too loose will cause her to slip out. Most rabbit harnesses are built in a way that it won't be easy for the rabbit to get out..just make sure you can fit a finger under it and you'll be fine..good luck,Elizabeth
