Question
I think my rabbit might have a cold. It sneezes a lot and seems to have a runny nose. I don't see any white discharge, so I'm not sure. What are the syptoms I should look for, treatments, and other related illnesses? Thanks a lot

Answer
Dear Alicia,

Rabbits don't get colds, which (in humans) are caused by a virus.  But they do get upper respiratory infections that should be seen and treated by a good rabbit vet.  Please read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/sneezing.html

and find a good rabbit vet here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

I'd get bunny there for a check up and treatment if the vet thinks it's necessary, before things get more serious.

I hope this helps.
