Question
thru the night on May 23, my rabbit gave birth to 5 babies with the father in the cage (they showed no signs of mating and no signs of nesting, I was beginning to believe I had two of the same sex) well I found her with two of the babies outside the nest with her eating one of them, two inside the near the nest dead, and one alive in the core of the nest, I am not sure what she is doing or going to do next.  I did remove the father and did show her the one baby that is alive.  Any advice of information would surely be appreciated...

Answer
hi Joann -the buck should have been removed once they had mated.
if she is a first time mum it sometimes happens that they kill the babies because they don't realize what to do.
if you mate her again it is nearly certain she will keep them all.
keep a good eye on the last baby -but if it comes out the nest you will have to put it back in as the doe will just ignore it once its outside.
Dave.
