getting worse

hi i sent you an email regarding the grinding sound thankyou for the reply.It has been a couple of days and now he has lost a bit of weight and i have only seen it eat once in the past couple of days.he shys away from bread,meat,cheese and even his mix and he used to be really playful but now he just lays on his side breathing really fast in his house.i have only had him for about 2 weeks but i have had rats before and the other rat in the cage is fine and very playful just checking if there is anything i can do to fix this?

Obviously  I misunderstood your last message and assumed the grinding of his teeth were from bruxing.   

He sounds ill and will need a vet right away. If he isnt eating, is lethargic and just lays on his side, he needs a vet right away.
If you do not have a vet let me know and I will give you some names.
