My name is Kean, I'm 12 years old  and was thinking about getting 2 baby male rats. i know all my rat care and everything but i wanna get them neutered, how much does that cost?
please answer 'cause i wanna make sure i have enough money for everything

Good news...you do not have to have males neutered unless you have your own personal reasons why you would want to do it?   If you have conerns, what are they?


To neuter them would be around $150 and up, per rat, depends on the area you live in etc....

I am proud of you for doing your research first. Many adult rat owners dont bother do to this!!  This makes you a very responsible "future" rat owner!


PS: Male rats are my favorite!
