Rat fell. leaning, favoring back paw

Question
We went out for the evening. When we returned we got our rats out.  We noticed that 1 of our rats {peanut female approx 2 years old}  must have fallen in her cage.  She is a climber so it's bound to happen.  She has a laceration above right eye. She is favoring her entire right side and back left leg. When we hold her she leans into the right side.  She still moves around but is hindered.  She is eating drinking water, bruxing, boggling, grooming.  She has always been a lap rat and very calm.  We have her out of her cage keeping her isolated as to prevent further injury's.  The vet in my area Do not specialize in rats and do not like taking admissions.

Could there be something very seriously wrong with her.  We have had alot of rats in the past and currently and we know how to promote healing. We have dealt with broken legs, hip, tail, teeth, paws, and many infections.

If anyone can think of anything else this could be.  possible stroke that caused fall?.  any advice is greatly appreciated.
also could a fall cause brain damage, concussion as does in humans?.

Answer
I was just thinking also that a stroke could have caused the fall and yes, rats can get a concussion, but if it were a stroke, she could have some residual problems  from that, too.

Let me know your location and I will try to find a vet using the resources that I have here.
