Rat food

Hi!  I just got a new rat Stephano and I just wanted to know if I can feed him Rice Chex. It seems to be the only thing not too sugary! Thanks! ~Kathryn

Rice Chex only as a treat. Rats are omnivorous so they can eat a wide variety of foods. A quality Pet Rat seed and grain mix, or Lab blocks, and a high quality diet such as you yourself would eat are all a rat needs. Google "Food For Pet Rats" for more suggestions.
