QuestionI bought a ducorps cockatoo 2 weeks ago he has been imported ,has he dosent have a ring on his leg he ie eight months old.i dont really know much about them and i cannot find a book he is really agressive spits and bites do you think with a bit of time and love he will calm down

If you live in the united states, it is illegal to import wild caught birds. So, if you bought him in the states, he probably was raised by an irresponsible breeder who did not raise him and socialize him well and was just in it for the money (because Ducorps cockatoos are rare and people will pay high amounts for them in some cases).
Any bird can learn to trust humans if given enough time and love.

(As cockatoos should live to be about 60 years of age if properly cared for).
