QuestionI just got a sixth month old african grey parrot. He makes a lot of clicking noises, but I would like to know when can I expect him to start talking? Thank you.
AnswerUsually African Greys don't start speaking until a year or a year and 1/2. But it isn't uncommon for them to start speaking earlier... or in some cases- not at all. Some greys will never speak actual words (it isn't very common, but does happen). Some greys prefer beeps, whistles and other sounds... instead of words.
I hope this helps answer your questions.
