what are the different governments around the world doing to preven traders making the animals extinct

I'm not entirely sure but I know that most of them have bans on importing certain species. There is CITES Canada if you want to check that out, they may also have some info. on what other countries are doing to prevent the extinction of endangered animals.

I hope that helps some. I don't know a lot about what other governments are doing, or other countries for that matter. I know the US is pretty picky about these sorts of things.
