Question
i have a cockatiel cage.
my dad says put the african grey in the cockatiel cage.
can you tell me what can hbap to the african grey

Answer
A grey in a 'tiel cage is sort of like a human trying to live in a closet. Some 'tiel cages might be big enough for a temporary home, but greys are among the smartest of all parrots and they need far more stimulation than a cockatiel.  Not that 'tiels aren't bright (they're one of my favorite birds), but they just aren't the intellectual equal to a grey.
Is there enough room in this cage for the grey to spread it's wings fully without touching the sides?  Even if the bird is sideways?  Can it flap without touching a side or bottom?
What about his toys? Greys need puzzle type toys, things where they have to figure out how to open or unlock.
They need regular interaction too - at least two hours every day out of cage, preferably much more.  Our birds are out of cage 7+ hours every single day, no matter what.
