We've had an amazon for 30 years and it has never laid an egg.  Does that mean it is a male?

Answer
Not necessarily, it could be that he has never been stimulated enough during breeding season to lay an egg. You will not know for sure what sex your Amazon is unless you DNA sex him, but unless you are using him for breeding it doesn't really matter the sex is; unless you just would like to know for your own personal knowledge. (I am only using "him" to avoid using "it")
