Sun Conure depression?

Our sun conure has become mopey over the past two weeks and hasn't been as chipper or as loud as he normally is.  He also exhibits less enthusiasm to come out of his cage.  Just recently, he won't fly.  We're a bit perplexed about what is going on and have thought that maybe he is going through a molt.  Our sun is a little over two years old.

Your bird could be going through a molt.  Molting happens at least once per year.  Molting is stressful on a bird, so this could explain his behavior.  Otherwise, you'll need to provide more detailed information that I can review because your bird could also be ill and need avian attention.
