conures

Question
for about a week or so now my green cheek conures when covered for the night make noise almost like they are yelling at each other this goes on and off about a half an hour i peeked tonight threw the cover and they was in a coner on the bottom off the cage and they are hardly ever on the bottom of the cage but i wanted to know if this is a sign of mating we dont know the sexes and want them as pets not breeders or can there be something wrong with them

Answer
 - It very well may be breeding, but it may also be fighting.    

I would put them in separate cages, but keep them close to each other.
