poorly mouse

hi i have just found a mouse with a 1cm cut on its tummy and was wondering what to do with it i think it is a common house mouse and it looks to be a baby i have put it in a tank in a quiet area with some bedding and water and some bird food with meal worms is there anything i can do to help this poor little guy?

Clean the wound with Hydrogen Peroxide, found at most drug stores. Dilute it to a ratio of 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide to 2 parts water. Try to get the mouse some mouse food becuase that will be better for it. What you have done so far for the mouse has most likely saved its life. Lastly, maybe get the mouse a wheel or some toys if you plan on keeping it.
