Mouse fur loss

I have a pet mice she is 4mos old , and she is losing hair by her eyes and top of her head , I put vitamin drops in her water and give her the right mice food everyday and I clean her out every three days and her eyes are deep red. I hope somebody can help me so i can get her well again like she was before when i got her 4mos ago....

Dear Judy,

Your mouse very likely has mites.  If you take her to a vet you can be sure, since your vet can test a skin sample to find out the cause, and your vet might give you an easy way to treat the mouse.  However if a vet visit isn't in the cards, follow the instructions I gave this person, and you'll probably solve the problem:

If it doesn't help then the mouse should see a vet to make sure she doesn't have a fungus or other more difficult problem.
