Barbering in mice

My mouse Peiper, like pulling the hair out of my other mouse, Sofia.  I only have one cage because when I bought them they said they are very social, and are better if living in pairs. Is there anything i can to do make her stop gnawing on Sofia?  What can I do to help stop her barbering?  Is there a medication?  Any advice would be much appreciated!

Dear Nicole,

Unfortunately, there is nothing to be done about barbering in mice except, if the condition seems to be causing discomfort, separating the mice.  In most cases the mice stay together and the barbering continues.
