Raising motherless fuzzies...

Question
I work at a ranch, and my boss recently found a couple of fuzzies that were abandoned by their mother.  He's got a lot on his plate, so I offered to make sure they're fed and watered.  They are little grey barn mice, and their eyes are just barely open.  I'm not exactly sure what they should be eating at this point; I offered one a sunflower seed (shelled) but he didn't seem too interested in it, so I'm guessing they're still nursing.  I've repurposed a (well washed) Visine bottle to feed them milk with, and I'm about to try and feed them for the first time.

Anyway, I guess my question is, "How do I keep them healthy and happy?"

Answer
Hi Chris,

You're in for a bit of a difficult week. You are going to have to nurse and care for them en every two hours for perhaps a week.

Because my internet is out and I am on my phone I am going to direct you to look at my recent answers. There are a few about orphan mice and at least one has a link to how to take care of them. It includes instructions for feeding them formula or kitty milk and how to massage them so they eliminate.

ADDENDA: ITS THE ONE CALLED ORPHAN MOUSE TRYING TO RAISE.

I apologize for not even giving you a link but it is maybe 6 answers ago. After you find it please write back with questions. Also I really want to know how the little orphans do because that helps me tremendously to give better advice later. Please write back no matter what happens

Thank you. Good luck. Please excuse any weird typos because I'm not very good at using this phone online.

Squeaks,,
Natasha
