Question
Hi.
My Mother mouse who is on her second litter. Has spparated her litter into two grps. both nests are next to eachother and she seems to be switching off. should i worry or is this from maybe having 13 in this letter apposed to 9 her last. too many feeding at once.

Answer
Hi Sean,

As long as she is still nursing both, this is completely okay.  She only has so many nipples to go around, so it may be her easiest way of making sure everybody gets fed.  In fact, I once had a momma mouse who would rotate pups though the nest all day to feed them - as long as they all get a chance to eat, everything is just fine.  :)

Congratulations on your new litter!
