Good Luck with your new babies that are comming soon

Hello

Wow that certainly sounds like alot of guinea pigs! I'm hopeing to experience something like that as well. 2 of my guinea pigs are pregnant and near the same days as well.

You can keep the boys in the cage with the mother for actually 5-6 weeks. 3 weeks as alittle bit early. Take them out at about 5 weeks. That's what I've always done with my guinea pigs.

it's also perfectly safe to keep all the boys together. They are still you and shouldn't have any problem being together. They can even start meeting now. If you have the mothers and the babies all together they will take care of everyone. The babies will suckle from both mothers and the mothers care for all the babies. This would be great for them because they get used to eachother wonderfully!

For taming ways. A really effective trick is every time you bring the guinea pigs treats that they love. Pick up the guinea pigs and then feed them the treats. This may take some time but after awhile they will get better. Pretty soon they will look forward to being picked up because they will know they are getting treats!

Best Wishes with all of your guinea pigs! They are so cute!

Answer
Hello

Well that's too bad that one of the guinea pigs attacked the other one. that isn't usual behaviour alot of the times. It's okay though it happens.

It is perfectly safe to keep the babies in there up to 5-6 weeks. I have done that with my litters everytime and hvae had no problems. If you are worried you can seperate them at 4 weeks.
One of my guinea pigs will be having her second litter and the other guinea pig will be having her first litter. Around the same time! I'm very excited!

Best wishes once again!

Amy
