my ferret ate red licorish

Question
She ate almost the whole box of red licorish and she has red diarrea!  It looks like blood and im terrified.  I dont have any transportation but I will walk her somewhyere if this is life threatning

She should be fine after a while. The sugar in it is probably making her have the diarrhea, but as long as her poop returns to normal, she's eating and she's drinking, she should be fine. In the future, make sure she doesn't get into things like that! Sugar isn't good for ferrets, or any other animal really. Ferrets can't do anything with it so that is probably why she isn't feeling too well. Just watch her behavior and her eating, drinking, and bathroom habits. If anything changes, please get her to a vet as soon as you can!
