I was thinking about getting a baby boy and baby girl ferret but I wanted to know how to tell them apart. Like do I put collars on them or make a marking with non toxic marker?

Dear Alysea,

Your little boy ferret will have a distinctive little button on his lower belly (if you know what I mean).  I don't recommend collars because these little fuzzies can very easily get entangled and choke to death.  Don't worry about being able to tell them apart, Alysea, you will be able to.
