sub. peeing

Question
my 5 month old intact male ACD is submmissive peeing and sometimes excited peeing what can I do and what should I not do?
We are planning to nueter him at 6months

Hello Ray,
Keep all interaction with him very low keyed, especially whenever coming home or other times when his excitement level is highest.  Do not look at him or bend down to greet him-just walk in and act like he isn't there.  When getting him out of his crate, be very calm and take him directly outside without talking.  If you know an event is going to happen that will cause some excitement for him, take him outside right before and really praise him when he does go outside.

This is very common, and most dogs will grow out of it on their own.  These extra techniques will help that process.
