Jack Russell Potty training

Question
My husband and I just got a Jack Russell, she is almost 5 months old.  We had gotten her from an Amish family, and she was raised in a barn with other animals.  When we got her home, she is very submissive and will only go to my husband or I sometimes.  When we touch or pick her up, even sometimes look at her she pees.  When she goes outside to use the bathroom, she comes back in but she still pees, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little.  When she runs over to you she usually pees while she is running.  I don't know what to do.

Answer
It sounds like she is very undersocialized.  Keep your interactions with her very low keyed for now.  Do not look at her or approach her-allow her to come to you.  Also bending over to pet her can elicit this response.  The most effective way I have found is to sit on the floor with your side to her and some treats.  Hold the treats palm up in your hand and allow her to come to you and be rewarding by eating those treats.

Part of it could also be puppy excitement-again keeping things low keyed-soft tone of voice, minimal verbal praise, etc. should help until she matures a bit more.
