Dog Escaping from Adobe Fence

Question
I have a one year old Australian Cattle Dog (heeler).  We have a five foot adobe wall (we live in a neighbood with various convenants).  My Dog, Miah, is sweet, loves people (has separation anxiety disorder because she was abused) but is jumping over the adobe wall.  Do you have any suggestions on how we can keep her from jumping over the wall.  I try to walk her every day; she does not like toys (seems to be afraid of them!).  Thanks, Charles

Answer
While I'm not big on them for every situation, you might consider an invisible fence system like the one made by PetSafe. It's adjustable from 5-90 feet. I would highly recommend having help from a good trainer when you acclimate your dog to it, though!

I am making the assumption that she has access to the yard by herself, all the more reason to teach her the appropriate boundaries. If you are out there with her and she's still going over, a remote trainer (again, ask a pro for help on this) might also be a good option.

Good luck,
