Can I housetrain my four year old doberman or is it to late?

Yes it is very possible to train the adult dog to be house trained.  I assist with this process several times a year with adult dogs.  Utilizing the process on the aft mentioned page you can accomplish it very easily.  Please see my answer to this question: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Dog-Training-3333/2009/12/new-puppy-training.htm  Us the same process with the crate except obviously you will lead the dog out not carry it.  Let me know if you need additional assistance in understanding.
