hi anne,
i just got a rottweiler from my frnds place...he is 8 months old.he is not trained in anything.doesnt know anything..more over he is jumping also.PLEASE HELP ME CONTROL HIS JUMPING.
ANOTHER THING IS THAT WHEN I  TRY TO TRAIN HE DOESNT PAY ATTENTION KEPPS AROUND THE HOUSE...HE NEVER STOPS KEEPS RUNNING ROUND AND ROUND..THE HOUSE.I TRIED TRAINING INSIDE THE HOUSE DOESNT EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO TREATS. PLEASE HELP ME.

It sounds as though he is very anxious.  Try using a better treat (real meat instead of biscuits) at first, to catch his attention.  Do not scold or use physical correction with him.  He's a doggy teenager, but even so, he needs calm rational training.  Here's a great video on jumping up:
