BMs

Our puppy has alot of BM's at night....he goes in his cage at night but not during the day when we are at work....He goes Every 1 1/2 hours thur the night.... we get tired of cleaning his cage so we end up putting him in bed with us....he does better.... why is this happening?

Hello Vicki:
it could be the time of night you are feeding.  It may be too close to bed time.
another consideration is worms, which are more active in the bowl, when puppies are sleeping.
Also to consider is stress levels, dependant on where you keep his crate.  I always suggest in the bedroom with you for comfort of being near you.

however I think the main cause would be feeding schedule.
