paon in aging pug

my pug sam is 15 years old, showing many signs of old age. sometimes he just keeps walking around the house like he is uncomfortable, he will lay down and get right back up and walk some more. is this a sign he is in pain?

Answer
This could be a sign he is in pain, or may be that he is becoming slightly senile.  I would suggest that a vet check for general health would be a good idea at this point.  He may well have a treatable condition at this stage and there could well be options to explore before starting to think about that last question.
