Question
hello, I just got a schnoodle, she is almost 10 months, I was told that she used to eat twice a day but I can't hardly make her eat a little bit a day I am feeding her with eukanuba, it is the first time that I have a puppy so I don't know what to do to make her eat, what can I give her with her food so she can eat. She drinks water well also I notice since day one that she is very afraid of everything too nervous like if she was abuse in the past I don't know. Please help find the way to make her eat more. Thank you for you time.

Answer
Your first mistake is the eukanuba. Go to the pet store and get her a good quality premium food, no by products. wheat, soy or corn. Preferably Flint River. Eagle Pack. Canidae. Wellness, or Natural Balance. Put her food down for fifteen minutes every morning and evening at the same time. Leave her alone, no additives or snacks. She either eats or not.
Your dog is having problems adjusting to her new environment. A pup at her age, especially if she wasn't socialized much in her other home, takes longer to adjust. Don't baby her. Just behave normally. Begin walking her every day just as soon as you can. After you've had her about two weeks or so get her involved in an obedience class.
Good luck with your girl
