Question
Can you groom a Yorkshire terrier without wetting the hair? Some people say you should never ever do it because it ruins the whole coat. Do you actually have to wet it or is it only if you have a show coat?
Thank you,
Millie

Answer
Oh my Millie,
where on earth did you ever hear that? Couldn't be more wrong. How else do you clean a dog? It gets a shampoo bath and blown out. Most get haircuts because it is very difficult to maintain a long haired dog.  Try getting a DVD about grooming yorkies. It will show you what to do. There is specific equipment involved that makes it easier on you and your dog but it is important to learn how to use it.
don't believe everything "some" people say.
good luck
