hi we have just got a seven month old female german sheperd i read from one of your responcesabout the first time she will be on heat as she is seven months old she may have had one already but i want to know how often will she be on heat and how soon can we get her spade

You get her spayed now!!
It is never too early all those old wives tales are untruths to wait until a heat.  My old English Bulldog we put down last month near 12 years old, life span 8 years, had the best bladder of any dog.  She never had an accident and was spayed at 3 months old.
She just wore out, her lungs filled, the heart got weak so she is sitting on my fireplace mantel...her ashes.
dogs come into heat every 6 months for 21 days, the last week is the danger of her getting bred.  It is not worth the hassell, she will be healthier from cancers like women get.  It just makes a better pet.  Trust me she does not need to of had a heat, keep the cut dry and clean until it heals.  If u use Fresh Factors like I do the surgery goes along so nicely the cut heals fast for these tabs promotes great healthy skin, coats, etc.
