older german shepherd

Question
I have a 10 year-old female german shepherd (that I've had for eight years) but she has recently started to poop and pee on my living room carpet.  She even did it when I took her my parents house for a visit - even though we let her out often.  I just had her to the vet for her annual check-up about a month ago and everything was fine.  I'm trying to figure out if its behavioral or something new that is physically wrong with her even though she seems healthy.

Sometimes as dogs age, just like humans they need to go potty more often. It could be that your girl doesn't have the kind of control that she had as a young lady. Try taking her out more often. You might also try a different dog food for senior dogs. Choose one that has no by products, soy, wheat. corn, bha or bht.
