How old should our cocker spaniel be before we breed her the first time?

Hi Shelley, the best age is two, having let your female have at least two seasons, before you go into this, but please look into breeding very carefully its not easy, its very very hard work, and unless you are home with your female its not fair to expect her to cope with it on her own, if you want any advice dont hesitate to contact me im no expert but i have been through it and believe me its not for the lighthearted, it gives you so many worries, sleepless nights, i must admit it took me a while to actually get over it, and i wasent the one that had them she had five and i dont think i could of coped with any more, a fantastic experience but not easy.
