new born chis

hi my chi gave birth on day 59... I wasnt expecting til 4/17.. 3 puppies 70z and 60z....... all seem healthy
mom started having  "panick attacks"last nite......kept me awake most of the night had her bed next to me so that I could calm her.... am noticing that her two hind teats are soft not hard.....hard to express milk on all nipples.she has small nipple and virtually no breast on the upper teats.  the puppies cry she cries "panick attacks" tries to take the puppies and move them..... then they calm down she calms down and sleeps for a little while... she is occasionally shivering, puppies are not finding the nipples easily especially last nite even with me trying to attach them, they do try but eventually go to sleep...I am thinking this isnt good...but I know that yesterday they were nuring I am new at this also..but am a nurse.
at this time I will try to get them to my vet but he doesnt open til 815am... its 616am ... Does it take a while for her milk to come down or could this be something else..... other than we are all new at this?  :)

Diane, I just saw your post.  I sure hope mom and the pups are doing better.  Yes, you will need to see the vet...
MOM may have mastitis.
Also, you will need to syringe or bottle feed the pups.
Good luck and call the VET - I see you were going to take them in...
