Behavior after grooming

Question
I had my jack russle/poodle groomed on Monday and since then, he isn't eating and acting very strangely. He goes to the bowl and runs the other way, I also noticed he shivers as though cold. Seems to be sleeping alot. I thought the shivering was due to being cold, since he had all that hair removed. If I bring food to him he'll eat it. Driving me bonkers. Any thoughts on this. He did have a seisure about 6 months ago, the vet did tests but nothing came up.

Answer
BAD GROOMERS are the number TWO cause of behavior problems in dogs, second only to bad owners.  Your dog appears to be exhibiting pain related behavior.  DO NOT TAKE THAT DOG TO THAT GROOMER EVER AGAIN.  Take your dog to the Veterinarian for an overall check, he is in PAIN and requires immediate veterinary care.  INSIST on staying IN THE ROOM with the dog the next time he is groomed (and get references for the next groomer.)  OBSERVE CAREFULLY and NEVER allow cage dryers or any yelling or pulling.  Best to do it yourself and have a "bad" grooming every time than subject your dog to abuse.
