dog boxer are they safe with kids?

hi I recently adopted an 8 yr old male boxer from the shelter. I just want to know are my kids safe whenever he is around? My kids are 6 and a 4 yr old. thank you..

Hi Nick, In most cases Boxers are perfectly safe with adults and children. Being 8 years old, you do not know what his life was like prior to adoption. Be sure that you and the children establish yourselves as the alpha dogs in the pack. Please leave feedback, nominations, and follow-up with any questions you may have.
