Question
Good Afternoon,  This is not a reaaly serious issue; it's actually quite humerous!  My dog, Pumpkin, is a one year old, male, Cockapoo.  My Mom named him Pumpkin, but, he should have been named Monk!!  This dog will not leave us alone until everything is straightened up in the kitchen (and other areas of the house):  the soda bottles are all taken down to the cellar and put away, properly ( not thrown to the bottom of the stairs).  If we throw the bottles down the stairs, he jumps on the cellar door till we go down and put the bottle away in the bin!!  If we have some food (like hot dogs, for example) thawing on the cupboard, he bugs us till we put them in the fridge!!
He is the best little guy (24.5 pounds little) there ever was and he is sooo much company.  He is better than any psychiatrist (no offense to any MD.s) there ever was.  He can lift your spirits in a hearbeat!!  Have you ever heard of this kind of behavior?  Thank You in advance for your response and have a wonderful day.  Debby

Answer
Pumpkin sounds like a cutie. I'm not sure exactly what your question is. An alternate explanation for his behavior might be that he wants the food left on the counter until it's out of sight, or to play with the soda bottles. Sandy Case BFA MEd CPDT www.positivelycanine.com
